Service overview

Everything you need to know about our fuel delivery.

Running out of gas usually happens at the worst possible moment: on the freeway between exits, on a stretch of the 8 heading east, or on a canyon road in Rancho Santa Fe. Go Ape delivers fuel directly to your vehicle so you don't have to walk with a gas can along traffic.

We carry clean, sealed containers of unleaded and diesel. Enough fuel is delivered to comfortably reach the nearest station — typically 2–5 gallons, depending on your location.

Fuel cost is billed separately from the delivery service and reflects the market rate at time of dispatch.

FAQ

Fuel Delivery — questions we hear often.

How much fuel do you deliver?

Typically 2–5 gallons — enough to safely reach the nearest station. If you need more, we'll discuss it when you call.

Do you deliver diesel?

Yes. Let dispatch know your vehicle takes diesel so we bring the correct fuel.

How much does fuel delivery cost?

A service fee covers dispatch and delivery. The fuel itself is billed separately at the market rate.

Can you deliver premium (91/93)?

In most cases we deliver 87 octane, which is safe to mix with any grade for the short drive to a station. Ask when you call.

Is it safe to keep driving on empty until you arrive?

No — pull over safely, turn off the engine, and wait. Running the fuel system dry can damage your fuel pump.
