What areas do you serve?
We dispatch 24/7 across all of San Diego County — from downtown San Diego, La Jolla, and Pacific Beach to Chula Vista, El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Carlsbad, and everywhere in between.
What services do you offer?
Mobile tire replacement, tire sales, battery replacement, battery sales, jump starts, lockouts, fuel delivery, and general roadside assistance for light-duty passenger vehicles.
Do you service motorcycles or heavy-duty trucks?
No. Go Ape specializes in passenger vehicles only. Our focus lets us stock the right parts and train our techs specifically for the cars, SUVs, and light trucks San Diegans drive every day.
How fast can you get to me?
Most calls in central San Diego County are reached in 30–60 minutes. ETAs are shared by text as soon as a tech is assigned, and updated live until they arrive.
How much does service cost?
You'll get an up-front quote before we dispatch. Pricing depends on the service, your location, and the parts required. Non-members typically pay a $55 call-out fee plus service; members get discounted rates.
How does the membership work?
Memberships are $4.17/month or $50/year and include discounted service, priority dispatch, and reduced call-out fees. See the Membership page for full benefits.
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes. We accept all major credit and debit cards through secure Stripe payment links sent to your phone or email. No cash required.
Can you replace my tire on the side of the freeway?
Only when it is safe and legal to do so. If your vehicle is in an unsafe location, our dispatcher will coordinate a tow to a safe spot before service.
Do you carry batteries and tires on the truck?
Our trucks are stocked with the most common battery groups and popular tire sizes. If we don't have your exact match, we'll source it fast and deliver it to your location.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Every Go Ape truck and technician is fully licensed and insured. We treat your vehicle with the same care we'd give our own.
Do you work with insurance or auto clubs?
Go Ape is an independent, direct-to-customer roadside company. If you're covered by an auto club, you can still call us directly and submit the receipt for reimbursement per your policy.
